CrestClean began it’s journey 27 years ago in 1996. Working along side them for 25 of those 27 years has been Kale Print!
CrestClean’s original logo was even designed at Kale Print by Scott Crowley, who is now GM of Marketing at CrestClean Marketing HQ in Mount Maunganui.
Today the New Zealand owned commercial cleaning company has a growing team of over 2200 personnel across 742 locally owned and operated franchises, providing cleaning services to over 5,500 customers nationwide. Quite the local success story indeed!
CrestClean pride themselves on being good corporate citizens, creating a culture that champions its people and their achievements. It is this sense of responsibility that gave rise to the inception of the RecycleKiwi initiative.
Started in 2019, the programme offers fun and engaging resources to schools, businesses and organisations wishing to improve their recycling efforts. Transforming standard rubbish bins into a more environmentally responsible system, without the expense, and enabling organisations to take control of their own waste management.
To date, over 5900 FREE Resource packs including 230,000 waste separation stickers have been sent out to organisations all over New Zealand.
Produced right here at Kale Print, each pack can be customised to the users requirements with a combination of stickers, posters and resources.
“Kale Print is a longstanding partner of CrestClean and play an integral role in our marketing and communications activities. The team at Kale Print are responsive, reliable and adept at thinking on their feet when we have unique needs. They provide all the things we need in a print supplier.” Scott Crowley – General Manager Marketing
The effort and attention to detail that has been put into developing the resources is second to none.
Translated into te reo Māori, exceptional care and consultation has been undertaken to respect regional dialects across New Zealand.
A 3D animated mascot was also developed, and brand ambassadors engaged to deliver video resources and tools in a fun and engaging way.
A huge resource of information is now available online for schools and organisations to utilise.
