Where we are going

As a family business that has been operating for more than 35 years, we firmly believe it’s the responsibility of each generation to leave things in better shape for the generation that follows. Operating in a responsible way has become part of our DNA. We do this by actively participating and supporting our community on a local and national level. By providing a safe and inclusive culture where diversity is valued. Consumers are increasingly concerned with choosing products that are responsibly sourced and made. We back up our commitment to the environment through our FSC certification and Toitū Net Carbonzero status. FSC certification allows Kale Print and our clients to use the FSC label, giving consumers assurance about the origin of the products they buy with a proven chain of custody. We have systems in place to ensure we are continually improving how we do things, like our opportunities for improvement programme (OFI). This incorporates H&S, environmental and smart business practice. Each week we receive great ideas from the team which we incorporate into our business process. From technology purchases that reduce our power consumption to recycling streams for all our paper waste and metal plates. We are always on the lookout for better business practise opportunities that look after our people, reduce our impact on the environment and keep us at the forefront of our industry.

The print industry continues to evolve. We owe our continued growth, in part to embracing new technology and having a clear vision on the future. By keeping up to date with printing trends and technological advances, attending print technology conferences, and purchasing best in class print equipment, we can provide greater value for our clients. Every new technology acquisition is driven by our desire to add value and create greater success for our clients.

When you choose Kale Print as your preferred print partner, we will not only provide you with a quality product but also demonstrate opportunities to reduce your impact on the environment. Kale Print is an FSC certified printer, which means the paper we use comes from responsible forestry (tree farming), that has followed a strict chain of custody. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), is an internationally recognised organisation responsible for promoting and monitoring environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests. If you produce a product using FSC certified paper, you also have the option to include the FSC trademark logo in your print collateral. This is a great way to show your customers you choose environmentally sound practises and your business has an environmental conscience. Kale Print are also a Toitū Net Carbonzero certified company, having proven reductions in emissions and offsetting unavoidable emissions by investing in New Zealand and international carbon credit programmes. If you are needing an environmentally sound supply partner, you can feel assured partnering with Kale Print.
